After 26 years of ‘digital’, Daniel’s brain has mutated. He now dreams in binary, and thinks in hex decimal. He can still whistle the dial tone of his first 56K modem (from the days of super slow internet. So slow in fact, that it should have been illegal. Right up there with murder). Back then Dan was building systems for the US navy. He then joined an internet startup in Cleveland Ohio (of all places). Many years and roles later, he now spends his days dreaming up digital strategies and building pixel perfect digital deployments.

Yolandie fell in love with the ad world in 2001 working as a photographer’s assistant in Berlin. It took a collection of hippo sketches and numerous gallery visits to get accepted into the renowned Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule. There, a passion for typography was slowly drilled into her by meticulous German professors. After working in advertising and design in Berlin for several years Yolandie emigrated to South Africa. Among Yolandie’s biggest goals is (in her words) “a desire to prove that Germans do have a sense of humour. Sometimes.”
